How to Throw a Killer Event Party in Your YoVille Home

YoVille has a lot of fun ways to interact with your friends. Some of those ways are very simple such as the games of tic tac toe and rock paper scissors. Other ways are a bit more complicated, such as going to your friend’s homes to complete tasks or chatting with them in the various parts of the town. However, there is also a way to hold events and create clubs that will allow you to engage with your friends in exciting new ways in the comfort of your own Yo Home. These events may seem like silly diversions, but they can be incredibly large and fun ways to not only get together, but show off all the cool things you’ve been able to do in the game thus far.

How to Create an Event
To create an event, you need to be in your home. Then, click on your character and go to the event screen to create a new one and invite people over. The easiest way to invite people is to have them on your Buddy list. Because YoVille is operated on different servers, you need to be able to access your friends. If they’re not on your buddy list, they probably cannot see you when they logon. This will save some time.

What Kinds of Events Can You Create?
Event types range wildly from game nights to trading swaps to dance parties. You get to choose whatever you want, but make sure that you describe it well in your event invitation. If you aren’t clear, you may lose a lot of guests when they appear and find something different than what they expected.

Additionally, try talking to your friends first to see what kinds of events interest them most. Some people have preferences and your only real goal here should be to get people into your home to socialize – regardless of what purpose they have when they get there.

Events are simple little parties that allow you to stand around with friends and enjoy the different parts of the game. That said, they don’t necessarily have any direct bearing on the game or how it plays. You’re not going to get coins or experience for your events. You will however engage friends who can then give you gifts, help you with coins and stay on your crew to max out your earning potential in the Sweets Factory. Those are all very good things if you’re interested in doing well at this game.
